Maui camping is a must for outdoor lovers because of its beautiful views, different landscapes, and many hiking trails.
Here are three hikes you should add to your list for your 2024 camping trip on Maui.
Waihee Ridge Trail
Located on the west side of Maui, the Waihee Ridge Trail is a moderate hike that offers breathtaking views of the island’s lush valleys and coastline. The trail is approximately 4.5 miles round trip and takes about 2-3 hours to complete. There are two main trailheads: one near Lahaina and the other near Maalaea. If you start from Lahaina, you’ll go uphill with stunning views of Lahaina. Starting from Maalaea means a downhill hike with beautiful views of Maalaea Harbor.
